What is Our Flourishing Leadership Development Program?
Our Flourishing Leadership Development Program is a certification program designed to build the leadership capacity of people working in education, business, and community organizations. The program follows an inquiry process that centralizes decision making through critical thinking as:
- a vehicle to help leaders grow their capacity to lead in meaningful personalized ways
- a tool to build a leader’s self-coaching capacity to flourish in a sustained way
Flourishing Leadership for Youth
Our Flourishing Leadership Program has also been modified to engage students aged 13 and older in their personal leadership development. Students who complete the program receive a certificate.
Program Objective
Participants will actively engage in the creation of a High IMPACT+ goal and strategic action plan to address a pressing leadership issue.
The flourishing inquiry process encourages participants to reflect on the best approach to grow their leadership capacity. This work will culminate in a personal growth plan, designed to sustain a participant’s growth and leadership development beyond completion of this program. In addition, personalized support through one-on-one coaching is available for current and emerging leaders, upon request.
A certificate of successful completion is awarded to each participant who provides evidence of having designed the following:
- an effective personal growth plan
- a strategic action plan, driven by a High IMPACT + goal
Program Content
Both programs cover a wide range of topics identified as being of special interest to meet the specific needs of leaders. The sequencing of these topics is also flexible to meet their emerging needs.
